Focus: Zone Offense
At this practice we focused on swinging the disc side to side and hitting our poppers from the wing position. We played 10-pull to encourage possession play and to work on our transitions. Remember that when we are trying to work the disc up-field, we need one popper/deep cutting in along the sideline, another popper cutting for the inside-outlook (splitting the wing) and the third popper going deep down the middle, past the deep-deep. If we execute this well, we should have an open option.
At the end of practice, we once again worked on catching. Remember to always attack the disc with your hands. Don't wait for it to come to you, go get it first!
